Purple Chalcedony is often referred to as Purple 'Grape' Chalcedony or Purple 'Grape Agate'. Purple Chalcedony is often found growing alongside a white stone formation. The carvers often use this white stone as hatching eggs that different animals come-out-of when they are born. It often makes for interesting carvings.
