Labradorite

Country of Origin
Madagascar

Labradorite is treasured for its multi-colored appearance which shows vivid flashes of red, blue, green, gold, orange and violet. It displays a beautiful iridescence, giving off rainbow-colored reflections known as labradorescence when light hits it in certain directions. The flash of rainbows is visible when the stone is exposed to any kind of light. These days labradorite mainly comes from Madagascar, but it originally was found in Canada.
